I would probably sell it though. I still don't even have a full idea of how the business would run or work, so it's difficult to explain who I'd want to sell it to or when. I would probably sell it when I got bored of it I suppose.
I would choose to sell it because it's not something I'd want to keep in the family and I don't even like the idea of passing down a company to your kids because I want my kids to pursue their own dreams and interests.

Rachel, I see where you're coming from. Entrepreneurship isn't for everyone. The only way I'd keep a company I wasn't interested in is if it was mostly automated and took little work and made lots of money. I also agree that you shouldn't force a business on your children. Life's too short to not do what you're passionate about! I like the spongebob picture. Check out my post:

Rachel, I identify with you. The challenging part about this class is when I came up with my venture I didn't realize that we would have to go into this much detail for what I thought was just an idea for a business. Like you, I don't see myself starting a business or a company. Selling the company is a good idea though. Check out my post: http://isabellaruggeri.blogspot.com/2016/04/my-exit-strategy.html
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love the picture haha. I started this course with a similar mindset, but I actually had the opposite outcome, now I actually want to start my own business, at least for a little while. I hope you find something that you do want to do, and hopefully this class served some purpose for what you do desire. Here's mine: http://lfrancie.blogspot.com/2016/04/exit-strategy.html
